For when it's dark...

Hey You,

I've missed you a lot. I'm sorry it took me a bit to write. I am here now.

This season has kept me busy. Always rushing to make money and make the most out of small moments.

Winter Solstice is finally here!!! A balancing of darkness and light is finally at play.

I really love that it signifies the longest night but also promises the return of longer daylight hours. The symbolism is very telling. We must get through the darkest nights to get to better days.

Sometimes it's about facing the uncertainty of darkness, or it's about grieving, or its letting go of that which no longer serves us. And I'm all for it. I prefer to go that much further into the shadow to see what it's like on the flipside.

I'm marching through this darkness. Letting thoughts rise and fall. Accepting all these different facets of my shadow. Not judging what presents itself. And in doing this the silver lining is there.

I might be masochistic...

I hope your silver linings are lighting the way through the darkness. And if they are not that's ok. Sometimes life is just shit. But just know it won't be all the time. It might feel like a lie, but it really is not. And when you fall, I'm here.

All my eternal love,
Amber
